Barré Frères

Barré Frères is a long-established grower and negociant from the Loire region of France. The vineyards grow on very ancient land composed of a succession of slopes which are rarely higher than 50 m. The climate is dominated by the vicinity of the ocean and warm Gulf stream, leading to mild winters and hot summers. Some of the most famous appellations are in this part of France, and we have sourced a classic Sancerre and a crisp Muscadet amongst others from this winery.
